A dream come true…
Both stallions are mounted three times a week and live in box stalls. They both know the ‘Alta Escuela’ figures and behave extremely well in group.
Meanwhile the mares and foals remain in the pastures in order to stimulate socialization and the musculoskeletal development of foals.

The ‘Grand Cortil’ breeding farm:
It is the fruit of Daniel and Nathalie’s common passion: first the horses and then purebred Spanish Horses.
It started in October 2009 with the purchase of beautiful bay stallion Chulo XX, from the breeding farm of Juan Rosal in Barcelona, followed in 2010 by CariñosoVives (it was love at first sight for Nathalie…), from the breeding farm of Cain Maynon in southern Spain. Cariñoso carries black and dun genes.
One thing leading to another, two mares arrived from Spain in 2011, then a third one in 2014. The first foals were born in 2013 and are currently for sale.
The objective of ‘Grand Cortil’ is to breed foals with significant height, beautiful morphology, smooth gaits, and more importantly, a good personnalité. They are constantly in contact with humans, handled every day and still living in herd.

They are located near Barcelona, in an idyllic location…
Angel’s younger daughter, manages the operation with her husband and their son Pablo. The whole family lives only by and for the horses. Ana, the eldest, visits them regularly with her daughter Carla.
The stables are dedicated to buying, raising, breaking-in and training purebred Spanish Horses from the best farms in all regions of Spain.
They also give training courses: ‘Alta Escuela’ riding courses and ‘DomaVaquera’
